Who remembers the classic "LEGEND HAS IT..." newspaper comic info-strip? This 1930's single panel cartoon was a competitor to the much more popular "Ripley's Believe it... Or Not!" Ripley's would eventually sue "Legend Has It..." over a trademark violation, when they used the byline "Believe It... Or Go Fuck Yourself!" Robert L. Ripley won that case and "Legend Has It..." has since faded into obscurity. Thanks to the hard work of comics historians this blog will be reprinting the only surviving examples of this forgotten classic of the comics page.
