Fantastic Worlds

Here's the cover I just did for a new Battlefield Press Role Playing Game, (which is untitled as of now, but was originally called) Fantastic Worlds.  I'm not a big gamer, but from what I gather, you play characters based on a world of Public Domain 19th Century adventure stories.  Very familiar, well worn territory... but fun.  I've seen other Battlefield Press games and they look like a lot of fun.  The pulp adventure one was particularly cool if you're an old-school nerd like me.

I originally drew this cover 7 years ago.  And recently, when the publisher asked if I still had the original files (I actually didn't, they must have been lost in a hard drive crash), I took the opportunity to redraw it.  I have improved a bit in those 7 years and this version doesn't suck, whereas the old one kinda did.

The Batman!

A few warm-up odds and ends from the past week:

And a piece that I reworked to be a vintage paperback style cover. This wasn't meant to be a thing, but how can I not make it a thing? It should totally be a thing:

"The veil between the worlds parts, and out strolls the PHD of the Paranormal: Professor Hollow, Deadtective!"

1968 CYBERMEN ANNUAL

Another faux cover! This time around, it's memoribillia for the Cybermania that never quite took off. A cover for a 1968 Cybermen Annual that history never allowed.

Project Superpowers

Here are some of the sketchcards I drew for Breygent Marketing's upcoming Project Superpowers trading card set. (Weirdly, my scans turned out a bit grainy, but I'd already shipped them off before I'd noticed and I didn't get the chance to rescan them.)

*whew* That was a marathon of doodles you just made it through.
